Last saturday I went on a hunt to find the perfect dress for a Christmas party, and then I realised... I had no idea as to what I wanted! So here are some outfits to inspire you and give you some ideas for your party outfits, some for Christmas and some for New Years- you decide!
And if you were wondering, I found a dress in the end :)
Here's a pretty fifties dress. The top is tight and strapless, which I find pretty uncomfortable; first of all you need a strapless bra, and secondly- what if it falls off whilst I'm dancing? But non-the-less it's pretty nice. The bottom has lots of frilly layers, it's my favourite part! I matched this dress with my favourite high heels of all time- simple black wedges. There's so many reasons why I love these; they make my foot look so skinny (I don't know why, they just do!), they're so pretty, and most of all- they're the comfortable(st) heels EVER.
This is the dress I picked out on Saturday, for a Christmas party. I know it's not particularly Christmassy, but I just love it so much! I brought this from Primark, for about £16 (?). It's quite comfortable, which is always a bonus. The grey material is really soft, and the black flowers are made of some sort of fluffy material, whilst the black sleeves are made of fake leather. The shoes I bought from New Look for about £28, they're meant for school- but how could I NOT pair them up with this dress? They give the dress a sort of rocky look. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, and you could just pair the dress up with a nice pair of heels, but I like my boots!
This dress is so cute! I recommend wearing it to a family gathering, or something of that sort. The material is heavy, and feels really good quality. It's comfortable, especially with the belt there. I particularly love the checkered collar and belt with the bow, they really make the dress look cute. I paired this dress up with an adorable pair of heels. They aren't very tall, making them comfortable. They have a little belt on them as well, making them look very smart.
This looks like an evening outfit- don't you think? It's pretty short, with a glittery waistcoat, and a bow at the top (you can't really see it?). I actually don't like my dresses this short, but it's really up to you. I paired this up with a pair of rocky shoes. They're basically boots but on heels, I think they go well with this dress- but again, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.
This outfit is very classy, maybe for Christmas? It's tight everywhere, the material feels really good quality, almost like silk! At the top it has a netty type of thing, as well as at the sides. I brought this last year, at a sale in New Look- I've worn it to a couple places already, and it's really comfortable. The shoes I chose for this dress keep to the classy theme, they're very tall and very uncomfortable- but I guess it's worth it, they look gorgeous! They are glittery in a few places, and have holes going all around them. They're also from New Look.
This dress is actually summery, but I think it would do well for a party. The collar is cute, it's white and lace with a few pearls. The pattern on this dress has simple hearts on it, making it look adorable. I also brought this from New Look... If you didn't notice, I love New Look for dresses and shoes! The shoes I chose for this dress are (... also from New Look) simple black heels, they're quite short, and very comfortable!
Hope you enjoyed this post, and I hope I helped give some inspiration!
Let me know what you think of these outfits, and what do you usually wear for Christmas parties?
Thanks for reading, and give me a follow!

Christmassy room and other festive things!
I kind of went on a MASSIVE Christmas haul, and well... got a bit overly festive! I've decorated my room, and bough some other bits and bobs- so anyway, here's a load of christmassy stuff and other festive things!

What's a room without a Christmas tree? But jokes aside, I LOVE this Christmas tree- it's big, so it suits my bedroom perfectly! I kind of went for a red and white theme this year, although I've never had a colour schemed tree... there's a first for everything! And no Christmas tree is complete without a cute little figure on top- I put a tiny little fairy on mine.
I bought this snowflake a few years back actually, but it's one of my favourites! I can't really remember where I brought it from, but it came in a pack of three. It suits my red and white theme perfectly, and really brings out the wintery theme.
Wow, this owls eyes look like they're on fire- I promise you they're not, it's just a candle burning inside! I put these on my desk, so whenever I'm writing something, I can look up and be reminded of Christmas... ALWAYS a good thing! The candle inside is red and smells of cherry, the little thing to the left of it (I forgot what it's called??) has a little person caroling inside, and the pine cone to the right is spray painted silver, for that Christmassy touch.
I set up this nice scenery, it's pretty cute- don't you think? The snowman has a nice Christmassy feel to it, hope it won't melt by the candle (cheesy unnecessary joke, i know). The candle is pretty classic, with a gorgeous vanilla scent- it makes my room smell within minutes. I also put up some coloured lights, thought they went well with the purple walls, and fairy lights are the basic rule of getting a Christmas feeling.
This isn't a scented candle, but I LOVE the design on it- so festive! It's a pretty big candle, but I guess it's a change from the others. There's a nice little figure of an angle playing.. the harp? It's silver and not really aimed for Christmas, but I thought it went well. To the left is another silver spray painted pine cone- a bit of Christmassy DIY!
I have a bit of a bannister in my room, so I decided to mix it up a bit and wrap a Christmas chain around it. Just a simple silver chain I bough from Tesco, it really does do wonders- simple but effective.
What can I say? I have a wooden beam in my room, and I couldn't leave it looking so un-festive! Another simple but effective decoration I bought from Tesco, only 1 pound- what a bargain! Sometimes it's the little details that complete the room.
Two of my favourite things wrapped in one- Christmas and onesie, how could I resist? Another things from Tesco, a little bit pricey, but it's good quality, so it's worth the money. To be honest, this is one of the most comfortable things I have every worn! The material is so cosy, and the zip feels like it's not there (a common problem among my onesies). I always get my onesies one or two sizes too big, but this time I went wild and bought three sizes bigger- best decision of my life. It feels like I can just hide in it. Seriously.
Yet, ANOTHER thing from Tesco (I might as well just call this a Tesco haul?). These aren't necessarily Christmassy, but I would argue. They are so comfortable, the material inside is fluffy so it feels like your walking on feathers. I also buy my slippers a TINY bit bigger, so my feet are really a size 3/4, but I buy 4/5. I don't know why, I guess it's just a bit more comfortable.
Reindeer antlers. Nothing else to say, but that these are an essential for Christmas- and yes I do make my whole family wear a pair of these on Christmas!
I bought this hat a few year ago, but I love it! It's my favourite all time hat. It's really cute, comfortable and keeps my ears nice and warm- what's there more to ask for from a hat?
You know those cold winter nights, when your wrapped in two blankets, in your onesie and fluffy socks, yet your STILL freezing? TADA. That's when the hot water bottle comes to the rescue! Just pour some hot water in, and you'll have a nice hot pillow to keep you warm. Mine is Christmas themed, I got it as a present so i have no clue as to where you can buy one, but it's amazing!
Christmas cards- of course! I actually got these from Aldi, but I think they're pretty cute. They've got quite a unique shape, and I'm glad these come in a pack of three- bit of variation.
I got this as a present for Secret Santa... Shhh, don't tell anyone! I think this is so cool, it's Christmas themed Haribo! It's basically an igloo, and if you open the door, there are packets of Haribo's... festive and tasty? I like it.
I don't think anyone can deny a Christmas jumper! This one I got from Primark for £12, so it's pretty cheap. You can't really see, but the Christmas tree has googly eyes on it, so it's like it's looking at you the whole time! I get mine about two or three sizes to big, again, I just like to hide in my clothes.
Another gift for Secret Santa... Should I really be showing this of to the whole internet?
It's SO cute! Basically it's a snowman made of Thorntons white chocolate. I hope it lasts 'till next week, it looks so tempting!
Last gift for Secret Santa- a white galaxy chocolate. It looks so tasty, I just couldn't deny it...! I hope these gifts give you some inspiration for a gift, because at first I was so stuck as to what to buy! I thought chocolate was so boring to buy as a present... how wrong could I be?

Trust, Support and Friendship.
So today my trust and support were tested.
I'm not going to go into great detail about my personal experience, because that way the trust would be broken... So I'll just have to skip a few details, but nether the less, this information can be applied to a range of scenarios, for example friendships, family, or any type of relationships.
There's a range of matters where your trust is tested, one of the biggest ones is keeping important secrets. When your friend finally opens up about something very personal to them, you DO NOT, and I repeat- DO NOT- go around telling everyone, that's breaking the number one rule of friendship! Not only is this friend totally humiliated (well, it does depend on the secret!), but they have lost your trust. What does that mean for you? A hell of a lot. The foundation of a good friendship is trust, and if you lost that- there's basically nothing there. I mean sure, you can't stop being friends just because you don't have any trust, but to be honest you just wouldn't feel comfortable around them. Now that's not a good sign!
And as for support, it's equally as important as trust- you can argue all you like, but if your friends don't support you at least a little bit, then it's not going very well. So take, for example a really close friend, who opens up about something really personal, what do you do? Well, look at it from their point of view- they have come to you for support, not to be lectured or ignored. So you have to be there for them, even if you have nothing to say, the important thing is that you listened- and that's as far as you need to go if you want to support them.

My guide to feeling the Christmas spirit!
Goodbye November, hello December!
Now i know it's only the first of December, give me a break, but as soon as I open the first door to my advent calendar- it's my excuse to get all Christmassy!
I'm already feeling the Christmas spirit, and I wanted to share it with you guys: so here it is,
My guide to feeling the Christmas spirit:
1- Decorate your bedroom!
Set up a Christmas tree, get all the lights out, put some tinsel up, and light some Christmassy smelling candles (I usually associate Christmas with a gingery smell-what about you?).
2- Rave to your favourite Christmas songs!
Whether it's all alone in your newly decorated bedroom, or with a friend- it's always good to put some 'tunes on. How about the classics, like 'Last Christmas', or 'Santa Baby'?
3- Buy a Christmas jumper!
Just walking around the house in your new jumper will definitely boost your Christmas spirit, and if you want to go all out, why don't you wear a santa hat as well?
4- Create a Christmas E-card!
E-cards are a great and fun way to have a laugh with your friends- isn't that what Christmas is all about, spending time with your loved ones? Why don't you try out websites such as ElfYourself, or JibJab.com !
5- Christmas Nails!
If your anything like me, you'll love painting your nails for Christmas! Get inspired by youtube or google, and have fun decorating your nails with different designs. If your not too keen on nail art, just paint your nails in typical christmas colours such as green, red and gold.
There you go, my quick guide to feeling the Christmas spirit! If you enjoyed it comment down below what you like to do to get your christmas spirit, and don't forget to follow!

Nails And Art Kits
As some of you might be aware, I like painting nails!
And just to be clear, no I'm NOT a nail artist- nail painting is just a hobby.
How did it start? Good question.
Two years ago, about this time of the year, I was bored and painting my nails one bland colour. However I decided to turn my boredom into something more useful- so I jazzed my nails up a bit!
Things that have helped me along the way consist of mainly YouTube, and my nail art kit. When I first started I thought of art kits as just a thing for professional nail artists, they were far to complicated for me! But as I checked out more and more tutorials, I became more aware of how useful they actually are. And now I have grown so fond of it that it's become my new best friend!!
Moral of the day- don't judge a nail art kit by its front cover.

I guess this is hello?
Hi, Hey, Hello!
I'm starting this blog because... Because I feel like it's going to be an easy way to express myself through the internet. Everyday life becomes a bit of a handful, and trying to squeeze my opinion into that would not only be hard, but also extremely painful. So I hope you like my blog, and visit soon!
